This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is issued by JERRY TIM BROTHER PTY LTD (ABN 57 679 315 907), trading as MENACE (“we”, “us”, “our”), for electric bicycles sold under the MENACE brand within Australia.
This Warranty applies only to:
- the original retail purchaser of the product; and
- products purchased new from authorised MENACE dealers, distributors, or the official MENACE website.
This Warranty is not transferable.

- MENACE warrants that the above components are free from defects in materials and workmanship during the stated warranty period, provided the product is used and maintained in accordance with the user manual.
- MENACE’s sole obligation is, at its discretion, to repair or replace a defective component. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished and are warranted only for the remainder of the original period.
- This Warranty covers the replacement part only. Labour, freight, and transport costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless required by law.
This Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g. brake pads, tyres, chain, bearings, grips, paint, decals).
- Damage from accident, collision, misuse, abuse, neglect, overloading, or improper storage.
- Damage from exposure to water, including submersion or high-pressure washing.
- Damage caused by commercial, rental, racing, or competitive use.
- Damage caused by unauthorised modification, tampering, or installation of non-MENACE parts or software, including:
>modification of motor, controller, or wiring;
>use of non-approved chargers or batteries;
>removal or alteration of pedals, throttle limiters, or safety systems.
- Improper assembly or maintenance not performed according to MENACE instructions.
- Cosmetic or environmental damage (scratches, corrosion, fading).
- Damage during transport not arranged by MENACE.
- Consequential or indirect losses such as lost time, income, or enjoyment.
In addition regarding the battery, this limited warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from the following actions or situations:
- Charging with a charger not intended for or appropriate for use with the battery.
- Using a battery charger improperly.
- If any of the seals on the battery are broken or show evidence of tampering.
- If the battery has been used in equipment other than the bike for which it is specified.
- Retain proof of purchase for all warranty claims.
- Maintain, clean, and store the product as directed in the user manual.
- Use the product only for its intended purpose as an electric bicycle for on-road and light off-road use.
Competitive, stunt, or extreme terrain use voids this Warranty.
To submit a claim:
- Email enquires@mob-menace.com with:
> proof of purchase;
> clear description and photos/videos of the fault.
- MENACE may request additional diagnostics or return of the component for inspection.
- If the issue is not found to result from a manufacturing defect, you may be charged a reasonable inspection and return fee.
- MENACE’s technical assessment determines whether a claim falls within this Warranty.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- MENACE’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund (at our discretion).
- MENACE is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including loss of income, opportunity, or use.
Where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), MENACE’s liability is limited to the remedies provided under the ACL.
